Please consider donating to Symphony North. Your donations will go towards supporting our annual concerts and will allow us to continue to provide high quality classical music to North Houston.

Symphony North is a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donations and gifts to Symphony North may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisers or the IRS to determine whether a contribution is tax deductible.

3% Cover the Fee

Sponsor-A-Chair Program

Sponsor-A-Chair is a signature giving program (separate from any other Symphony North donor programs). As a sponsor, you have the opportunity to choose a specific instrument (based on availability), receive special program recognition, and invitation to special events where you can meet and get to know the musician holding the chair you have sponsored. This program provides an opportunity to know more about the orchestra from the inside out and to draw a closer connection between the players and the audience.

Chairs can be designated in your name, your family’s name, or in the name of a company. Chairs can also be recognized in honor or in memory of a loved one. The sponsorship will begin at the time of the gift. The sponsorship is not designated for a specific musician (although many players hold the same chair for multiple years), but rather for the chair or position in the orchestra.

Levels

  • Podium $3,000

  • Concertmaster $2,000

  • Principal $1,500

  • Section player $1,000

Benefits

  • Name recognition in the concert program on the orchestra member’s page as (your name here) chair for each concert throughout the year sponsorship (5 concert minimum)

  • Name recognition on Symphony North of Houston’s website

  • Personal introduction between sponsor and musician with photo opportunity

  • Invitation to special events
